About the Product

Lumi*Essence Organic Brightening treatment visibly corrects freckles and dark spots caused by excessive and cumulative sun exposure and helps to even out skin tone overtime. Contains Kojic Acid (helps lighten and reduce the appearance of dark spots), Alpha-Arbutin (derived from the leaves of cranberry, blueberry and bearberry shrubs. Skin lightening agent that prevents conversion of pigment-forming enzymes) Papaya and Pineapple extract (provides intense exfoliation to help reduce the size and color intensity of dark spots and help even skin tone overtime). Niacinamide has an inhibitory effect on the transfer of melanosomes to skin cells, thus it can interrupt the process that causes irregular pigmentation to form. Recommended use am and pm. Application of sunscreen of at least SPF 30 is mandatory while using this (and any kind of sun damage repairing) product. IMPORTANT NOTE: This product addresses sun damage related skin unevenness only. It may work the best on light to medium skin colors.

I have few dark spots due to prolonged exposure to sun and light acne scars or blemishes that refuse to fade away. I have dry skin type and in fall and winters the severe weather conditions in Chicago just make it worse and my skin looks too dull. I tried Lumi Essence Skin brightening cream for 3 weeks applying it daily in morning and night. I am very happy with the overall skin tone improvement. This has really helped brighten my skin and fade the dark spots. My acne scars are finally no longer visible. This cream is moisturizing too which is super helpful for my dry skin type, I do not have to apply moisturizer over it. I only applied sun screen ass stated to protect from further sun damage. It comes nicely packaged in bottle and has pump to dispense the cream easily. It is rich and creamy in texture but is easily absorbed into the skin.
