This is best potato masher I have ever used and it works great not just for potatoes but veggies and beans or basically mashing any food item. Mashed potatoes are favorite in our house and I was previously using one I bought from walmart which had vertical handle and masher was too wide. It me lot of effort and time to get perfectly mashed potatoes. With Kukpro stainless steel masher the job is done so quickly and with no effort at all.

The best thing about the product is the masher plate which has holes of two different sizes one bigger and other smaller and plate has several holes on it. The design really makes the process of mashing easy and quick. I like horizontal handle better than vertical ones as it helps get the right amount of pressure without pressing down too much. The grip is good too. I even make Indian appetizer dishes which need veggies and beans to be mashed with potatoes too and this works perfectly for it too. I add boiled broccoli or cauliflower in the beginning as the ends need bit more effort to mash than the flower part.

Cleaning it is easy with water and soap. The holes are wide enough to get food out when placed in running water. You can place this standing on counter top or lay down horizontally in cabinet drawer. Overall a great product to have in kitchen!
