The package arrived in mail and I was all excited to begin working on it. I assumed this would required complicated setup and lots of time. But I am really impressed with how easy and fast it is to install Zume Magnetic Screen Door. I always wanted something to act as shield between my living room and kitchen as my kitchen is easily visible from living room. I was looking for something stylish to go with my home decor and make it easy to walk across if I am carrying food or tray.
This screen fits perfectly. Installation is really simple and easy. I and my spouse simply held the screen first to figure out the length where we wanted to stick it. The kit comes with velcro straps that you stick to back side at spaces designed for them. Then simply get screen to position you want and remove white sticker and stick the velcro back into the wall or wooden frame.
We had to stick it into the wall and I am happy with how easily it stuck and stays on the wall. I was afraid it might fall off. The kit also has some pins which you can use to secure on wooden frame but I do not feel you may need them.
The good thing about this screen is that they have kept velcro straps at few spaces apart which helps to secure the entire screen. The screen opens up easily while walking through, no need to open with hands. This is very useful when I am carrying tray load of food for guests.
The magnets (26 used in design) are aligned and spaced apart so screen comes together easily and get stuck back together. The mesh is of good quality and not too thin. I liked the lace design on top, gives it nice classy touch.
I am super happy with the look of this magnetic screen door. You can use this on patio door to help fresh air come into the rooms without getting any bugs inside. I will be getting one for my patio door!!
