The cream is light brown in color and make sure when you apply that you just lightly tap around the eye area. Unlike other eye cream this does not need to be rubbed into skin, it needs to be left damp. 

After a minute you will feel you skin tightening and it firms up area around the eyes. It provides coverage against dark circles and mine looked less in intensity. It was similar effect like applying concealer.
