This is awesome tool to have in kitchen if you use avocado frequently. Me and hubby have recently started eating avocados regularly as guacamole with chips or adding avocado slices in salad with bit of salt and lime. Cutting avocados was really mess and especially removing the core pit. I have accidentally cut myself so many times trying to get pit out with knife. My hubby just gave up on cutting avocados but now thanks to this nifty tool we can slice and dice or mash the avocado quickly.

The 3-in-1 slicer tool has knife in front, center is for removing pit core and end is slicing kind of section. It looks green so color goes with avocado theme :) The knife is not sharp to cut fingers but sharp enough to slice the avocado into half easily. Adjust the center on to the core pit and it comes off easily then. No more struggling with removing the pit. The slicer is useful depending on how ripe the avocado is for me. The perfect ones I use the slicer to scrape the avocado off the skin and it comes out in perfect slices.If over ripe then it kind of comes out but gets bit mashed up which work fine if making guacamole. You can also peel off the skin and then run the slicer through avocado horizontally and vertically to get small diced sizes but avocado should not be too ripe. 

The storage unit is bonus. Now if I do not need the other half I can keep it with pit inside the storage unit so it stays fresh and not turn brown. The storage unit can also be used for keeping cut lemons/lime which happens a lot while cooking. This tool set has made it so easy that even my hubby uses it to cut avocados.
