Well to be honest this is the first time I have actually tried a Dermaroller on my skin. I am not afraid of needled but just never got into it, was not aware if it worked or of benefits. When I got an opportunity from ELIMISCAR to try their Facial Care Kit I was super excited. I could not wait to try and see how it worked on my skin, I have sensitive skin so I am choosy of products as not all work well for me.

I received Dermaroller with needle size of 0.5 mm. They provide white plastic kind of box with lock up mechanism which I use to store my Dermaroller. The Dermaroller also has a plastic cap which helps to keep needles intact. I wish though the cap was of better quality, it plastic but not strong enough. The Dermaroller is sleek golden design with handle that provides good grip.

Recommended needle size as per the brand:
Fine lines and wrinkles – 0.5-1.0 mm
Shallow scars – 1.0-1.5 mm
Deep scars – 1.5 mm

Every time I use it, that's before and after, I like to sterilize it by dropping it in boiling water for about 5 minutes, just to make sure that it's sterilized and clean. The Vitamin C serum is scent free and clear gel like consistency. You can use this for both face and body but I am only using it on face right now. I use the ElimiScar Derma Roller once every 3-4 days. I use it at night after cleansing my skin with my facial wash. To use it, I roll the ElimiScar derma roller in a small spot, in 4 different directions (vertical, horizontal, left diagonal, right diagonal). I only apply a slight pressure, don't press it too hard!, and this shouldn't feel painful at all. I do it for about 10-15 minutes all over my face. Then apply Vitamin C serum and moisturizer. The feeling is similar to a slight prickly and a bit itchy feeling but not painful. The feeling will last for 30 minutes to 1 hour so I do it well before sleeping time. The next day I did not feel the itchy or prickly feeling on my face. 

The deramaroller helps increase the absorption of any product you apply on skin. With regular use I have seen my skin tone brighten and lesser fine lines on forehead. It does not cause breakouts or redness on my sensitive skin.
