I have very dry skin and even though I apply moisturizer twice day and night, I still feel my skin dries up and even becomes flaky too soon. The winters in Chicago are harsh and they further damaged my skin. I received samples of Aveeno Sheer Hydration Daily Moisturizing Lotion (1 fl.oz) and Aveeno Protect+Hydrate lotion sunscreen (0.5 oz). I have very dry and sensitive skin and Aveeno has been one of my favorite brands for long time. Their Active Naturals line is great for skin type and I never had any reactions or irritation, I try to avoid chemical based products mostly.
Aveeno Sheer Hydration Daily Moisturizing Lotion is an excellent moisturizer which kept my skin hydrated for 24 hrs, seriously did not need to apply again on same day and I have very dry skin. It made my skin soft and silky. However I do wish it had a fragrance. It got easily absorbed into the skin. This is must have for winter survival kit!!
Aveeno Protect + Hydrate Lotion Sunscreen is something new I tried, SPF with moisturizing qualities! Interesting! It has SPF 30 to help protect skin from sun damage. What I really liked was that it hydrates the skin in addition to acting as a sunscreen. Mostly my skin dries up after using sunscreen frequently so this is really a product I will like to buy full size this summer.

The product came in 5.1 fl.oz tube. which I kind of prefer over jar as tube helped me control the amount I want to use, no wastage. The mask is greyish in color and glides very smoothly onto the skin. It is simple to use - apply thin layer onto clean skin, leave on for 10-20 min until dries and then rinse off with lukewarm water. The best thing I liked first was that the mask did not crack or become uncomfortable once it started drying which is what usually happens with these kind of masks. The next was when I washed off mask from my face, my skin so smooth an soft. The mask does not dry up your skin unlike other masks. My skin feels firmer and my breakouts and blackheads have diminished with regular use. I use this twice a week and apply generously, though you only need a thin layer. I have combination skin, nose part is oily while rest remains dry. So for my skin type this mask works perfectly. However I do need to clean up sink properly after washing my face. If you use towel then you may need to rinse it off completely to avoid stains. It comes off easily so should not be a problem.
